EVR Announces New Collective Agreement at Line Creek Operations

Elk Valley Resources (EVR) announced today that members of International Union of Operating Engineers local 115, representing 619 workers at EVR’s Line Creek Operations, have ratified a new 5-year collective agreement, replacing one that expired on May 31, 2024.
“We are pleased to have reached a collective agreement that is fair to employees and supports the continued success of Line Creek Operations,” said Shane Green, General Manager, Line Creek Operations.

Since 1931, IUOE Local 115 has helped to build some of the most important dams and infrastructure in the province, serving all British Columbians in their day-to-day life. Local 115 has over 13,000 members who work in many industries. They are dam builders, crane and heavy equipment operators, road builders, aerial firefighters and mechanics.
