Crown Mountain Access Cleared for 2025 Field Season

NWP Coal has successfully cleared snow from the access road leading to the summit of Crown Mountain, marking a key milestone ahead of the 2025 field season.
This early access will allow project teams to begin seasonal activities such as geochemical drilling, environmental data collection, and site inspections. The improved access also benefits recreational users, as the road is typically blocked by snowdrifts until late June or early July.
In addition to snow clearing, NWP crews completed minor road repairs to support safe travel and proper water drainage. While the route remains rugged in places, cross ditches have been maintained to manage runoff, and the road is now passable.
